1. Before ordering
A quotation enquiry carries no commitment: you can change or abandon your selection without charge. The provisions below concern sales actually concluded with JINOR. For help or a complaint, contact contact@jinorfrance.store.
2. Consumer withdrawal
For an eligible distance purchase of goods, a consumer has fourteen days to notify withdrawal without giving a reason, starting the day after receipt. Where an order is delivered in parts, the period starts on receipt of the last item. Statutory deadline extensions apply.
A clear statement sent by email or post is sufficient; the model below is optional. Prior authorisation or a return number is not required to notify your decision. Sending back a parcel alone does not replace notification.
3. Returning goods
Return the goods within fourteen days after notifying withdrawal. We provide the appropriate returns address; request it promptly and keep proof of dispatch. Do not use the administrative office as a warehouse without confirmation.
Direct return costs for a change of mind are payable by you only where disclosed before the sale. For goods that cannot normally be returned by post, an estimated return cost must be disclosed before the contract. No arbitrary restocking fee applies to consumer withdrawals.
Protect items during transport and return their accessories. Original packaging is recommended, but is not an absolute condition. Only diminished value caused by handling beyond what was necessary to examine the goods may be deducted where legally permitted.
4. Refunds
Following valid withdrawal, payments including the initial standard delivery charge are refunded within fourteen days of notification. Extra costs of a more expensive delivery method selected by you are not refunded. A refund may be withheld until the goods are recovered or evidence of dispatch is received, whichever happens first.
The original payment method is used unless you expressly agree to another method without fees. A credit note is not imposed instead of a refund that is due.
5. Exceptions and business purchases
Any statutory exception, such as goods genuinely made to your specifications or clearly personalised, must be explained before commitment. A volume purchase or an item obtained on request does not by itself remove a consumer’s withdrawal rights.
Purchases made for professional purposes follow the quotation’s return terms, subject to applicable mandatory protection. There is no general business-to-business right to return goods for a change of mind. Any agreed return is recorded in writing.
6. Faulty or non-conforming goods
Statutory guarantees are separate from change-of-mind returns. For new goods sold to consumers, the conformity guarantee can be exercised for two years from delivery, with a presumption during that period that a defect existed at delivery.
Repair or replacement must be free of charge, without major inconvenience and within thirty days. A price reduction or contract termination is available in the circumstances prescribed by law. Statutory extensions or renewals apply, including a twelve-month extension when repair is chosen under the applicable legal framework. The latent-defect guarantee also remains available.
Describe the problem to contact@jinorfrance.store. Do not pay return charges for an accepted conformity claim: appropriate arrangements are made.
Official guidance: withdrawal and statutory conformity guarantee.
