1. Data controller
JINOR, SIREN 109 199 950, JINOR, 8 rue Lemercier, 75017 Paris, France, is responsible for data processed to respond to commercial enquiries. For data questions, contact contact@jinorfrance.store.
2. What the website does
Your selection stores only product references and quantities in your browser’s session storage, for the session and up to twenty-four hours before expiry at the next visit. Entered contact details are not stored with the selection. They remain in page fields until navigation or refresh.
The prepare-email button creates a draft in your email application. No form is automatically submitted to JINOR. A .txt file is created on your device if downloaded. For a long enquiry, the website may download the complete file and ask you to attach it to the draft manually.
If session storage is unavailable, the selection may move between pages in the local URL fragment. The fragment contains only product references and quantities and is not sent to the server in a normal HTTP request.
3. Data and purposes
When you send an email, we receive what you include: name, email, optional company, destination, postal code, products, quantities and message. This is used to reply, prepare an offer and, if a sale is agreed, manage the order and follow-up. Pre-contractual steps or the contract provide the legal basis.
Accounting and tax duties justify retention of required records. Complaint handling and security rely, as appropriate, on legal obligations or a proportionate legitimate interest. The catalogue does not conduct advertising profiling or automated decisions with legal effects.
4. Recipients and providers
Only authorised JINOR staff and providers necessary for the enquiry or sale access relevant data: email, hosting, carriers and, where necessary, suppliers or accounting advisers. The company does not sell your contact information.
Hosting and network services may process IP addresses, user agents and technical logs to serve and protect pages. Any access functions of the hosting service are also covered by its own privacy information. Transfers outside the European Economic Area must rely on a GDPR mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses, as appropriate to the provider. Contact us for information about providers actually involved in your case.
5. Retention
An enquiry that does not lead to a sale is retained for no more than three years after the last active contact, unless an applicable erasure request or legal retention requirement changes that period. Sales data is used during fulfilment and then archived on a restricted basis for applicable duties and limitation periods. Invoices are retained for ten years. Dispute records may be retained until final resolution within legal limits.
Downloaded files and drafts in your email application remain under your control. You can delete them directly on your device.
6. Cookies and local storage
The catalogue code sets no advertising or analytics cookies and uses no external fonts, videos or tracking tools. Selection storage serves only the requested functionality. Clear it using “Clear selection” or by closing the browser session. Any cookies required for hosting-service access or security are separate from this catalogue. No advertising consent banner is added for analytics that are not present.
7. Your rights
Subject to GDPR conditions, you have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability where applicable. Send requests to contact@jinorfrance.store. A response is normally provided within one month; a legally permitted, explained extension may apply. Proportionate identity evidence may be requested where there is reasonable doubt, without routine identity-document collection.
You may complain to the CNIL or your competent supervisory authority. You do not need to create an account to exercise your rights.
Guidance: retention periods; cookies and tracking.
